Description	English: The Senate convened and resumed consideration of S. 2611, the Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill. The Senate approved an amendment to the legislation on a vote of 63 to 34 establishing English as a “national language” without overturning existing laws governing the provision of some government documents and services in other languages.
