Struck circa 724-731. ∂ N D LЄO N PA MЧL [...], crowned and draped facing bust of Leo, holding globus cruciger in left hand and akakia in right / ∂ N C[ONSτ ANτINЧS] ML, crowned and draped facing bust of Constantine, holding globus cruciger in left hand and akakia in right. Extremely rare – only the second specimen known for this series and the first of this variety. |
