Summary

Description
English: Imperiled (S2) in the state of Ohio, Platanthera ciliaris is limited to two populations on one of the rarest habitat types in the world: oak savannas. These habitats require periodical burnings to be maintained and keep the understory open. Platanthera ciliaris is dependent on prescribed burns in Ohio to expand its population. Photo was taken near Toledo, OH using a nikon Z7 and a 18-140mm lens and the in-camera photo-stacking software.
