Español: Naruto, es una serie de manga escrita e ilustrada por Masashi Kishimoto cuyas adaptaciones al anime son dirigidas por Hayato Date. La obra narra la historia de un ninja adolescente hiperactivo, impredecible y ruidoso llamado Naruto Uzumaki, quien aspira a convertirse afanosamente en Hokage —el máximo rango ninja y lider de su aldea natal—, con el propósito de ser reconocido como alguien importante dentro de su aldea.
English: Naruto, is a completed Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. The plot tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, an adolescent ninja who constantly searches for recognition and dreams to become the Hokage, the ninja in his village who is acknowledged as the leader and the strongest of all. The series is based on a one-shot comic by Kishimoto that was published in the August 1997 issue of Akamaru Jump.

Italiano: Naruto, è un manga scritto e disegnato dal mangaka Masashi Kishimoto. A partire dal 1999, sono stati pubblicati 626 capitoli raccolti in 64 volumi (fino al capitolo 617). In Giappone, i primi 51 volumi hanno venduto oltre 100 milioni di copie[1] mentre, negli Stati Uniti, dove è pubblicato sotto l'etichetta della Viz Media, il numero 9 è stato il volume manga più venduto della storia degli USA[2]. In Italia, la serie è pubblicata dalla Panini Comics e, finora, conta 61 volumi per un totale di 587 capitoli. Naruto il mito è la ristampa italiana (contrassegnata dal numero del volume in rosso, nella prima era in nero), arrivata al numero 51. Vi è anche un'ulteriore ristampa della collana Naruto Gold arrivata al volume 47, la quale si differenzia dalle altre per il formato più grande, le copertine e la posta.

Article 2 of Japanese copyright law defines that a work is eligible for copyright when it is a production in which thoughts or sentiments are expressed in a creative way and which falls within the literary, scientific, artistic or musical domain. Japanese courts have decided that to be copyrightable, a text logo needs to have artistic appearance that is worth artistic appreciation.
