Description
English: Mural with warriors, Cave of the Painters, Kizil Caves On d. facing. W. a (R.) (Fig. 356) was the continuation: Drona, standing on the city wall, settles the dispute between the Indian princes over the relics of the Buddha, which lie behind him on a large carpet within a second rolled carpet. Next to him on the wall are two armored men, persuading the arriving, armored riders come from both sides, holding their lances in their arms, partly on horses, partly on elephants. Noteworthy are the heraldic animals and banners on their helmets, their standard symbols on the lances (dragon, three- and four-lobed flags) and the cup containers they carry on their lances. The right side of the picture is almost completely destroyed.
