English: Basil II Bulgaroktonos, with Constantine VIII, 976-1025. Miliaresion (Silver, 30mm, 2.88 g 12), Constan­tinople, 989-1025. En TOVTω nICA T' bASILEI C CωnST' Patri­archal cross crosslet, with pellet in globe at the middle and floral ornament above the base, on globe at the base with four steps; to left, crowned facing bust of Basil II, bearded and wearing loros; to right, crowned facing bust of Constantine, beardless and wearing chlamys; triple linear border. Rev. Θ / bASIL' / C CωnSTAn /ΠORFVROG' / ΠISTVbAS / RωMAIω' /Θ within triple linear border. DOC 20. SB 1812. A remarkable piece, preserved on a full flan. Some scratches on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
