Description
English: “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” is an early-20th century waltz song composed by Albert Von Tilzer, which became the unofficial anthem of baseball. This version was sung by Edward Meeker on an Edison Records phonograph cylinder in 1908, and was one of the earliest performances of the work. In 2011 this recording was preserved by the Library of Congress’s National Recording Registry.
