Description
-*- Although this is not included in Carl van de Velde´s study of Frans Floris (see no. 10), it is a signed work of considerable quality and there is no reason to doubt the traditional attribution to Floris. Some of the draperies and the background may be the work of a studio assistant but the principal figures appear to be by Floris himself.
