Description
Svenska: Högt klockformig kopp på fotkant. Henkel flackstavig, konturerad, med nedåt inrullade fästen. Godset svagt brunaktigt. Dekor i pålagd vit relief. På bottnens utsida ett rankverk av prunusblommor på bara kvistar. Föremålet tillskrivet Capo di Monte, ursprunget dock tvivelaktigt. Mått: H 7.4 D 6.9 - 7.1 Fabriken grundlades år 1743 av kung Karl III av Neapel. Som ledare anställdes den belgiske kemisten Livio Ottavio Schepers samt målaren och kamésmidaren Giovanni Caselli från Piacenza. Verksamheten vid Capo di Monte uppfhörde 1759 men återupptogs i Villa Reale i Portici 1771 varifrån den flyttade till Neapel 1773. Pris: 40 kr. Se Toilettbok sept. 1904 The white moulded cup and saucer is Doccia, they continued making these throughout the 19th century, but yours looks to be a fairly early example c. 1760 but it is hard to be sure from a photo.
