English: Memorial stone in the former McPheeters barracks in Bad Hersfeld (Hohe Luft). It was erected in honor of the soldiers of 3rd Squadron, 14th Armored Cavalry Regiment and the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment who did their military service in Bad Hersfeld. The memorial stone was donated by US Veterans. The stone was unveiled by Hartmut H. Boehmer (mayor of Bad Hersfeld) and John Sherman Crow (Brigadier (retired) President of Blackhorse Association, a veteran organization) on 24 June 2009.
Deutsch: Gedenkstein in der ehemaligen McPheeters-Kaserne in Bad Hersfeld (Hohe Luft). Er wurde zu Ehren der Soldaten der 3. Schwadron des 14. US-Panzeraufklärungsregiments und des 11. US-Panzeraufklärungsregiments errichtet, die hier ihren Dienst taten. Das Denkmal wurde von US-Veteranen gestiftet. Der Stein wurde am 24. Juni 2009 von H. Boehmer (Bürgermeister von Bad Hersfeld) und John Sherman Crow (Brigadegeneral i. R. und Vorsitzender des Veteranenverbandes Blackhorse Association) enthüllt.
