| Description |
English: Map of the Spanish governorate of Terra Australis (1539-1555), later it was incorporated into the Governorate of Chile since the government of Jerónimo de Alderete at the request of Pedro de Valdivia who sent him to request the merger of both territories before his death in 1553, something granted by the Court and inherited by the future governors of Chile.
Español: Mapa de la gobernación española de la Terra Australis (1539-1555), posteriormente fue incorporada a la gobernación de Chile a partir del gobierno de Jerónimo de Alderete a petición de Pedro de Valdivia quien lo mandó a pedir la fusión de ambos territorios antes de su muerte en 1553, cosa otorgada por la Corte y heredada por los futuros gobernadores de Chile.
