English: Gilbert Duprez (1806-1896) as Fernando and Rosine Stoltz (1815-1903) as Leonor de Guzmán in Act IV of Gaetano Donizetti's La Favorite at the Salle Le Peletier in Paris in 1840-1841. Lithograph by Émile Desmaisons (1812-1880) after Gabriel Lépaulle (1804-1886), frontispiece to the first edition of the vocal score (Paris: Schlesinger, 1840).

English: Ink spots removed, differences from alternate Harvard University copy (File:Mme Stoltz and M Duprez in La Favorite (4th act).jpg) were fixed to better resemble the less damaged version, scratches removed, mild distortion from paper not lying flat was fixed to square it up, levels and saturation tweaked; chromatic fringing removed.
