Description
English: Center of Canisteo, New York, intersection of Main St., Greenwood St. (in back of the photographer), and Railroad Street (later Depot Street), looking toward the Erie Railroad Depot. Shows trolley of the Hornell Traction Company. Trolley ran from 1892 to 1926. Main Street, later East Main Street, is on the right. The First State Bank had not yet been built.
