Use in article (WP:NFCC#7)	Company of the Ring
Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	The Company of the Ring is the subject of this article and of the image. This image directly illustrates Peter Jackson's interpretation of the Company. Jackson's film is necessarily a visual interpretation of Tolkien's book, and this image provides the article's only glimpse of exactly that visual interpretation. The article states that "A consensus of critics described the casting as "pitch-perfect"." The casting in question is that of the 9 members of the Company, all of whom are shown in the image. The four characters in the foreground are the hobbits or halflings; they are shown reduced in height by scaling and green-screening. The dwarf on the left is similarly reduced in the same way; the relative proportions of dwarf and hobbits was achieved by choosing a tall actor to play the dwarf.
