Brigadier Sir Arthur Maxwell "Max" Ramsden (1894–1957), a solicitor from Yorkshire, England, who became aide-de-camp to King George VI.

A comprehensive effort has been made to discover the identity of the author, via collections, libraries, the internet, archives etc., but non was found.
Date 1948, when he received his OBE.
