Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8) | for visual identification of the person in question, at the top of their biographical article |
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1) |
Very few images of this person exist in public domain due to classified nature of his work and relative obscurity due to his tainted past as an engineer in Nazi Germany who worked on V2 rocket. I could not find any images of him from his working age where his face was clearly visible. |

This image is from Government archives of either France or Germany and likely taken in the mid 1940s to mid 1950s. |
Other information | The subject of the photograph has been deceased since: 2 January 1999 This image is extracted as a B&W photograph of Henri Bringer (formerly Karl-Heinz Bringer) from a french documentary titled "Les enfants du Buschdorf". Had to perform distortion correction and for that used this image as base reference (from 2010 inauguration of a street named after him) https://www.buschdorf.eu/vernon/bringer/khb015.jpg Press release of street name inauguration: http://www.buschdorf.eu/vernon2010/bringer/discoursStMarcel.pdf http://www.buschdorf.eu/vernon/bringer/slideA.htm (more images from inauguration ceremony) And here is the original screenshot from documentary it was extracted from and later perspective corrected and slightly cropped by me. |
