Description

Alaska humpback (Megaptera novaeangliae) whale call – The recorded signal has been sped up 10 times.

Original description: "Humpback whales produce a very wide variety of sounds while on thier feeding grounds in the waters of Alaska. Moans, grunts, pulse trains (Thompson et al. 1986) and long, complex songs (McSweeney et al. 1989) have been recorded in these waters. These sounds were recorded in the winter of 1999 and include both upsweeping and downsweeping moans."
