Description
English: An aerial view, looking south, of the northern branch of the Ashburton River / Hakatere, taken at around 5,800ft above ground level from a hot air balloon between Ashburton Forks and Methven in the Canterbury Region of the South Island of New Zealand. Prominent in this image are centre-pivot irrigation patterns. Also visible top right is the southern branch of the river.
