Summary

Administration Board excluding Nielson
Author
Thomas Henry Foley
Title
Administration Board excluding Nielson
Description
English: A political cartoon depicting the exclusion of Minnie Nielson, Superintendent of Public Instruction, from meetings of the Board of Administration. Nielson says, "Well, well, a meeting of the board? Gentlemen why was I not informed of this meeting?" The other members of the board, all men and all affiliated with the Nonpartisan League (NPL), sit at a table. George Totten, chair of the board, says, "We are not chasing you, if there is any chasing to be done you will have to do the chasing." The other members of the board seated at the table include John N. Hagan (Commissioner of Agriculture and Labor), Robert T. Muir, brother-in-law of William Lemke, and Patrick Casey. One other man is unlabeled, but this may be Charles Liessman, who was the board's secretary.
