Summary

Description Lady Adelaide Louisa Elizabeth Lamont (1842 - London 5 July 1925). Her father was Sir George Denys (1811-1881) of Draycott Hall, Reeth, North Yorkshire, and deputy lieutenant for the North Riding of Yorkshire. She was the wife of Sir James Lamont, MP for Bute. The Adelaide Level lead mine, in Arn Gill, Swaledale, North Yorkshire, was named after her.
