[edit]

Description This picture shows a pyrocumulonimbus cloud over the Chisholm Fire on the afternoon of May 28, 2001.

Albertan Government
Source (WP:NFCC#4) Original publication: Chisholm and Dogrib Fires fRI Research

Immediate source: https://friresearch.ca/project/chisholm-and-dogrib-fires

Date of publication 2002
Use in article (WP:NFCC#7) Chisholm fire
Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8) This file will serve as the only image in the article. It will show the pyrocumulonimbus cloud mentioned in the lead(and briefly the progression section) of the article.
Not replaceable with
free media because
(WP:NFCC#1)
This fire occurred in 2001 and is long gone now, and this picture is the only picture I could find showing the cloud. There is one other picture but it is infrared satellite data, which is not what I'm looking for.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3) The file will ONLY be used on the Chisholm fire article, as it is the only article that doesn't yet have an image and this image fits.
Respect for
commercial opportunities
(WP:NFCC#2)
This file is just used as a banner image for a project that was finished in 2005. The Wikipedia article that I will use it on does not have anything to do with money.
