As the film is made up entirely of shots of the pictured figure in the pictured environment (though with varying angles and degrees of distance from the subject), the image not only demonstrates the visual appearance of the figure and the environment in the film, but also serves as an example of how the film looks overall. Furthermore, the image is useful for identification in the context of critical commentary of the work from which it is sourced. The image helps the user quickly identify the work and know they have found what they are looking for.
