Fatehpur is a village in Bhulath Tehsil in Kapurthala district of Punjab State, India. It is located 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) from Bhulath, 33 kilometres (21 mi) away from district headquarter Kapurthala. The village is administrated by a Sarpanch who is an elected representative of village as per the constitution of India and Panchayati raj (India).

According to the report published by Census India in 2011,Fatehpur has 48 houses with the total population of 239 persons of which 128 are male and 111 females. Literacy rate of Fatehpur is 79.72%, higher than the state average of 75.84%. The population of children in the age group 0–6 years is 27 which is 11.30% of the total population. Child sex ratio is approximately 500, lower than the state average of 846.[2]
