[edit]Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Major Sunil Dutt Dwivedi won in 2017 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Elections defeating Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Mohd Umar Khan by a margin of 45,427 votes.[4][5]
