Ethniko (Greek: Εθνικό, before 1927: Οψίρινα – Opsirina)[2] is a village in the Florina Regional Unit in West Macedonia, Greece.
Ethniko had 85 inhabitants in 1981.[3] In fieldwork done by anthropologist Riki Van Boeschoten in late 1993, Ethniko was populated by Slavophones.[3] The Macedonian language was used by people of all ages, both in public and private settings, and as the main language for interpersonal relationships.[3] Some elderly villagers had little knowledge of Greek.[3]
