Eric Zimmerman ran for Portland City Council in 2024.
Early life
[edit]Zimmerman was born Portland, Oregon, and raised in the metropolitan area.[1] He attended the University of Portland.[2][3] He earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration degree.[1]
Career
[edit]Zimmerman has been the chief of staff to Multnomah County Commissioner Julia Brim-Edwards.[4] He is also a U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq.[5][6] He has also served in the Oregon Army National Guard.[7][8]
Personal life
[edit]Zimmerman is part of the LGBTQ community.[9]
