The Enriquez de Remotigue family of Zamboanga del Sur is a prominent Filipino family formed by the marriage of Don Manuel Famor Remotigue, a scion of the haciendero Remotigue Family of Cebu, and Doña Natividad Enriquez de Remotigue, who hails from a family of azucarera owners in Negros. After the death of Doña Natividad, Don Manuel married her younger sister Doña Gregoria Enriquez de Remotigue.

When he moved to Zamboanga del Sur, Don Manuel would come to own his own hacienda in Barangay Balongating in Guipoz, Zamboanga del Sur and vast tracts of agricultural land in Misamis Occidental and Zamboanga del Sur, particularly, in Pagadian City where he became an influential political figure. He served as one of the founding council members of Pagadian City.[1]

During the peak of the family's influence, Don Manuel's brother Francisco Emilio Famor Remotigue served as Governor of Cebu from 1961 until 1963 and later as Secretary of Social Welfare from 1966 until 1967 during the pre-Martial Law presidency of Ferdinand Marcos Sr..
