Ennai Pol Oruvan (transl. A Man Like Me) is a 1978 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by T. R. Ramanna and written by Sathi Krishnasany. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Saratha, Ushanandini and Aalam.[1] It was released on 18 March 1978, and performed above average at the box office.[2][3]

Production
[edit]Ennai Pol Oruvan finished production in the mid-1976, but released only in 1978.[4] The film's similarities to Dharisanam (1970) were noted as both films revolve around lookalikes who are not related, but had different screen plays.[5]
Soundtrack
[edit]The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan.[6][7] The song "Velaale Vizhikal" is in Madhyamavati raga.[8]
