Elizabeth Rush

Elizabeth Rush is an American author.

Early life and education

In 2006, Rush received a BA in English from Reed College. In 2010, she received a MFA from Southern New Hampshire University.[1]

Career

Her book The Quickening details a 54-day expedition she joined with 57 scientists and crew to Thwaites Glacier on Antarctica.[2]

Awards and honors

Her book Rising: Dispatches from the New American Shore was a finalist for the 2019 Pulitzer Prize in General Nonfiction.[3]
