The East Williston Union Free School District is a school district that serves all of East Williston and parts of Roslyn Heights, Albertson, Mineola, and Old Westbury in central Nassau County, New York.
Overview
[edit]The school district was established in 1955.[2][3] As of 2024, the Superintendent of Schools is Dr. Danielle Gately.[4]
Schools
[edit]The East Williston Union Free School District operates of three schools:[5][6]
- North Side Elementary School (grades K - 4)
- Willets Road Middle School (grades 5-7)
- The Wheatley School (grades 8-12)
Sports
[edit]Wheatley features many sports and extracurricular teams and clubs.[7] The football and lacrosse teams are shared with the neighboring Herricks Union Free School District for football and Carle Place Union Free School District for lacrosse.[7]
