ePlus Inc.(Nasdaq: PLUS) is a consultative technology solutions provider that provides solutions and advisory and managed services across the technology spectrum, including security, cloud, networking, collaboration, artificial intelligence, and emerging solutions to more than 5,000 customers.[3]

ePlus was founded in 1990, and was formerly known as MLC Holdings, Inc. The company changed its name to ePlus, inc. in 1999, after its IPO in 1996.[4]

ePlus offers technology solutions through partnerships with various technology vendors in areas such as security, cloud, networking, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure including Cisco Systems, Hewlett Packard, Apple Inc., Dell and Microsoft.[5]

ePlus’ operations are directed from its headquarters in Herndon, Virginia. The company has over 1,900 employees[6] working in 30+ locations across the U.S., U.K., Europe, India and Singapore[7].

History and operations

The company has two segments: Technology and Financing.The financing division is engaged in providing equipment, software and relevant solutions[buzzword] to government and government-oriented entities.[8][9] In November 2013, the company's subsidiary, ePlus Technology Inc, acquired Advistor Inc.[10]

On February 4, 2014, the company expanded its Managed Services operations with a new center, which is ePlus' third Managed Services Center in the United States in the Raleigh, North Carolina, area.[11] The company provides customers with lifecycle management, and financing for IT products and services.[9]

In July 2022, ePlus acquired Future Com, Ltd., a Texas-based provider of cyber security solutions. [12]
