Traction

Both trains are hauled by a Bhilai Loco Shed-based WAP-7 electric locomotive between Durg Junction and Bathinda Junction. After Bathinda Junction, both trains are hauled by a Ludhiana Loco Shed-based WDM-3A diesel locomotive & vice versa.
