Dubai Run is a world's largest road running event held annually in Dubai[3][4][5], It is an event held in (Sheikh Zayed Road) in Dubai since 2017 as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge[6], covering a 5-kilometre (3.1 mi) and 10-kilometre (6.2 mi) course. The event is a "fun run"[4] as well as a race, attracting both competitive runners and community participants who can choose to run or to walk. The event attracts more than 200,000+ entrants who start in staggered groups based on previous running times and early entry.[7][8][9]

History

The Dubai Run has been held as an annual event since the first run on 24 November 2017[7], initially as a 10-mile-long (16 km) run that commenced in (Sheikh Zayed Road) Dubai, adjacent to Museum of the Future to Burj Khalifa
