Notability

[edit]

Regarding the band's notability, CMJ New Music Report was the national chart for College Rock in the 1980's. "It was a college music chart that would be included in Rolling Stone and the other media outlets as the alternative to Billboard's comprehensive chart."[1] As noted in the article, X-teens was in CMJ's top 100 for both Progressive Radio and College Radio in 1984. In addition, numerous nationally published reviews in notable (non-college and non-local) magazines are listed in Critical Reviews and Charts. The music video Change Gotta Come was put in rotation on MTV, as reported in Billboard's "Video Music Programming, MTV Adds & Rotation" section, as referenced in the article. I have included reviews by The Wall Street Journal, Billboard, and Rolling Stone to the Legacy and Critical Response section. I would like direction for how the information in the Critical Reviews and Charts should be included, if at all. Nedrum (talk) 19:30, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The X-teens meet WP:NBAND criteria 1 and 11. Nedrum (talk) 14:46, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
