What happened to the citations for the listed players?Tennisedu (talk) 00:22, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Tennisedu: Somehow they were all removed by this series of edits. They need to be brought back and added to Wolbos article. Remember, we are using Wolbo's draft for working on for 1913-1967. You should transfer your citations to that draft. Fyunck(click) (talk) 03:56, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, sounds good.Tennisedu (talk) 13:06, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The problem is, there are two different versions of 1913-1967. We should be working on the same version. You have not transferred the citations to Wolbo's draft, tennisedu. tennishistory1877 (User talk:tennishistory1877) 14:42, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I thought that you transferred Wolbo's draft to this sandbox, Tennishistory1877? I have restored the citations to the draft in my sandbox, which I believe is Wolbo's draft. That is what you did, right? You put Wolbo's draft here in my sandbox, so I have been editing the Wolbo draft. So if you would like to transfer those back to Wolbo's sandbox, go ahead. But do not delete my citations from this sandbox again. Once was enough, and I had to restore them.Tennisedu (talk) 20:44, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
User:Wolbo/sandbox7 is where we're working on the 1913-1967 section. Now that the citations have been transferred from this draft over to there, I've removed that section from here to avoid confusion about on which page we should be editing what. Why the full draft has been split across two separate pages is beyond me, but that's how we're doing things. Sod25 (talk) 12:34, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Wolbo did not include many things in his draft, such as the lead, which needs revision, or the pre-1913, or the post-1968. Those were all started work here in my sandbox at the suggestion of others, and now we have some issues over the citations which have apparently been removed again. So we are having to rework this material again and again over the issue of citations. Go figure. The reason that we kept a copy of the 1913-1967 material here was to preserve the citations, which we did a great deal of work on. Now those citations have been lost again. Please do not remove those citations. I spent a lot of time putting them in, and now they have been lost again. I suggest that the 1913-1967 section be restored here so that we can hang on to some of the work which is being done. Tennisedu (talk) 13:11, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There is no sense in having two drafts. If Wolbo is removing references now, he will continue to do so when the article is moved on to the main page. Argue it out with him on the Wolbo sandbox. Tennishistory1877 (talk) 16:20, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The issue has already been raised on the Wolbo sandbox talk section. No reply yet. We still need two sandboxes because the lead and pre-1913 and post-1968 sections have been excluded from the Wolbo draft....as I pointed out above.Tennisedu (talk) 17:41, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Wolbo's draft is only for the 1913-1967 section and the tables (if we're to have them). Your draft is for the pre-1913, post-1968 and lead sections. We'll combine them to make the full article at the end. Are there any citations that are not on Wolbo's sandbox but are on this one? I thought Tennishistory1877 copied them all across, but if not I'll restore the section so we can do so. Sod25 (talk) 17:43, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It appears that almost all of the citations which were carried over to Wolbo's draft have been removed. We are still waiting to hear from Wolbo as to why they were removed. I anticipated that this would happen, which is why I wanted to keep a copy of the draft with the citations here in my own sandbox.Tennisedu (talk) 17:50, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but as I said above, if Wolbo is removing them now, he will continue to remove them when they are transferred to the main article. So keeping a copy here is pointless. Tennishistory1877 (talk) 18:04, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hasn't he just moved them to at the end of each source's bullet point? Sod25 (talk) 18:14, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Don't follow you...where is that?Tennisedu (talk) 18:26, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
