One of his sons (July 25, 1843 - 1865) was injured during the Civil War and died . Not according to Findagrave. Grandson? Son of Joseph Alexander Turpin per Findagrave [1] who was a brother of Jr.

White Turpin Jr. (May 1, 1818 - Oct 1, 1842) died age 24.
