Creator Post
[edit]Hi! I created this article as someone who has had a long time appreciation for Triad Transformers. I am a hobbyist and created this post when I realized that Triad had no Wikipedia page. It was fun to research and learn.
The only thing that may be a little off is the reviewed times, as I spent a lot of time researching. I only put in the estimated times.
I am looking for any help to get this post approved so that people like me can see a Triad Transformer Wiki! Let me know if you have any questions. UCLABruin03 (talk) 18:19, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
- @User:UCLABruin03 It's important to know that Triad Transformers--as with ever other company, person, or entity--will never "have" a "Wikipedia page." There some day be an article about the company, if someone writes one that passes muster. And that article might or might not be to Triad's liking. But if something in the article that Triad would like to remove is relevant and well and reliably sourced, there really won't be anything that Triad can do about it. Hello Uporządnicki,
Thank you for reaching out to me. For the past 3 months I've been busy at school and have just come back for summer break. I decided to hop on Wiki just to see what's up and got bombarded by all of these comments.
Firstly, I'd like to say that I was not paid by the Triad company. As I mentioned, I am a hobbyist and am decently interested in old amps, but was also curious about the process of research and development of a Wikipedia page. I did this simply on my free time and with no (apparent) expertise.
As it has been said, the page was not made well and I guess I see that now, but this was my first time creating a page. I felt that I had made it in such a way that I was showing the parts of the Triad Transformer that make it significant, like the origin of the brand, the transfers of production of the parts, and the more important electronics that they were installed in. However, now I see that it does seem a bit sales pitchy, and with help I would like to correct that.
Finally, I decided to move it to the main space because I had to start school again. I was waiting for the draft to be corrected so I could edit it, and believe I waited several months, but when I went back to school I realized that the page would likely either die, as I wouldn't have time to update it, or be published anyway. I decided I would take what I thought was the better route, and just move it to the main space so that I would not have to worry about it anymore. I realize now that that was a mistake.
I would like to say that I aim to help fix this page, though as many said I may not be able due to my work evidently being "dreadful". I am sorry and I appreciate your understanding. 22:15, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
Last thing, I would like to be able to post this message on the old thread in the Teahouse, but am unclear as to how I should do this. I don't think I am able to respond on the past thread and don't know if the new thread will reach the people that responded in the past. Thank you for your help.

[edit]It has been raised on the Teahouse that the company has put out to its customers "We are excited to share that our company officially has a page on Wikipedia! Check out the page to learn more about our origins as the Triad Transformer Corporation and our history that's a part of early Hollywood films, the beginnings of Rock & Roll, and even the Apollo Mission.". Therefore, it is both the reporters, and my, opinion that this article may have been created for undisclosed payments. - RichT|C|E-Mail 21:11, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- I have tagged it for excessive reliance on primary sources, for reading like an advert, and (in two cases) for sources failing verification. It's quite possible that it is does meet WP:NCORP, but nobody seems to have made any effort to demonstrate that. ColinFine (talk) 21:45, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
