Resubmission notes

[edit]

The page has been resubmitted after carefully going through the reviewer's comments. There were two main comments: 1. meet any of the eight academic-specific criteria 2. or cite multiple reliable, secondary sources independent of the subject, which cover the subject in some depth

Both these comments have been addressed:

1. The subject of the article falls into category 1 of notability, i.e., "person's research has had a significant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources." This is demonstrated by the numerous citations of the subject's work in widely read textbooks and review articles authored by prominent academics. Some of these sources go into considerable depth regarding the subject's work such as dedicating an entire section in [1] and naming theorem 2.5.3 after the subject in [2]. Subject is also highly cited among the mathematical elasticity community as can be seen on google scholar especially in the study of bifurcations.

2. Multiple secondary sources have been cited in relation to the subject's research contributions. These include foundational textbooks in the subject such as [1] and [3] and review articles such as [4] and [5].
