wrong in so many ways
[edit]For a rather brief page, there's all sorts of reasons to prune it severely if not delete it outright. A few notes to myself about such attempted articles.
First, it reads like a rather obvious self-promo sheet for LF. For instance, I've blanked the statement that
- Feingold has gained international recognition as a polyamory activist
which at VERY least requires verification that he ever achieved any such recognition — let alone "internationally" which really ought to mean a whole lot more than "in parts of the U.S. & Canada & maybe Portugal" as per usual on WP — and from precisely whom, and that there's such a thing as a "polyamory activist" and that LF is in some way more significant than the thousand or so "polywonderfulness" blogs that exist. Really, if the guy's at all noteworthy, then CERTAINLY this sort of bushwah has been mentioned in at least one of the many times he's been interviewed.
There's really no bio aside from DOB/POB; he's a cipher 1973-1990. And shouldn't the ARTICLE maybe state that LF is (apparently) an attorney?
All mentions of LF's public appearances, article publications, interviews, and media guesting really ought to have clear dates mentioned explicitly in the article. REASON: any self-published writer, of minimal talent and no significant interest to the public, can manage over a year or two to accrue a few interviews, do bookstore signings, pop up at conferences … then pile these up to form a CV that looks really impressive so long as nobody checks the details. And the "retrieved on" date is pointless: elsewhere, someone tried that trick to sneak in a tract published in the 1850s.
In any case, W'pedia is not the place to endlessly catalogue an individual's noteworthy accomplishments. A few highlights may be noted, the rest summarized, and a "for more information" link provided.
We don't even know what years LF did the competitive-eating thing.
Also, big grey infodump blocks are unbecoming at best. Rookie editors often think this wadding makes a random collection of trivia seem somehow significant. I've pried this apart somewhat.
There's much dubious language/logic. We're trying to figure out how the hell LF "appeared on" The Huffington Post and The Atlantic, seeing as they're publications.
You can't simply drop a mention like "HBO movie Americans in Bed" and pretend everyone knows w.t.f. it is — supernatural thriller? documentary? docudrama? two-minute animated short? light comedy? (And the link is long dead.) As for Slutever (which pretty much any actual editor can see has a WP article), LF seems to appear in ep 2.1, which would be entitled "VR Porn" — was this left out as being embarrassing, or just difficult to explain in an "all about the polyamory" context?
Is the "poly residence" still operating as envisioned, or was it a brief publicity stunt? Again: dates are important, as are updates.

[edit]This article is created and largely maintained by the subject himself under his nickname "BringHeat." I, too, suggest removal. SamIAmNot (talk) 17:45, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
Suggesting removal.
[edit]Minor involvements in baseball and competitive eating do not meet notability criteria. As stated before - article is clearly maintained by subject himself. 24.102.86.3 (talk) 19:01, 11 September 2022 (UTC)
