[edit]Just want to note here that Ajigawa stable exists, and was expanded into an article but was turned back into a redirect due to notability concerns. I see it's now redirected here. This is one of those cases where there is probably not much to say right now, but presumably will attract more sources as time goes on. Pawnkingthree (talk) 15:42, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks, I had the same idea as someone else to create this article as its Japanese counterpart already exists with the new stable information. I wasn't sure if there were any conventions on the difference between putting the year in to the article title, or leaving without (as the previous Ajigawa stable became Isegahama). - I think the way we've done it is that the original or best known incarnation of the stable gets the article tite without the year, while the new one gets the year added to disambiguate it. If it's difficult to determine which is the better known or the primary topic, then we tend to add the year to both of them. Incidentally, if you can come up with a better disambiguator than the year of founding I would be interestedto hear it, as I don't think what we do now is ideal. - Hi! Thanks for creating the page! Just to bounce back on what you said, I'd agree to add the dates on the previous incarnation of the stables. I also think an infobox would be great for stables, just so we can track their previous name, it's quite a pain for Wikipedia template to keep track on these. - An infobox for heya would indeed be very useful - has been discussed before, just need someone good at the mark-up to have a go. Pawnkingthree (talk) 14:38, 9 December 2022 (UTC)

The same individual who reverted the redirect just put a notability tag on this page. I’ve already included two different sources on this, a link to the sumo association’s official page on the stable, and linked this article to its Japanese counterpart. What else needs to be done for notability purposes? JRHorse (talk) 18:23, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
- At the moment the two reports from Nikkan and NHK are basically just routine reports on the setting up of the stable. It would be be useful to find something a bit more in-depth to meet the "significant coverage" standard of the WP:GNG. Pawnkingthree (talk) 23:30, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Kaioma Did you just copy and paste the contents of this draft back into Ajigawa stable (2022)? That's now three different editors who have tried to put this into article space. That's not the way to go about it - this page should have been moved when ready. Pawnkingthree (talk) 00:12, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
- Kaiouma Fixed ping. Pawnkingthree (talk) 00:17, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
