Yuuto Suzuki (鈴木祐斗, Suzuki Yūto, born 6 July 1993) is a Japanese manga artist and the author of the Sakamoto Days manga series, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump.
Biography
[edit]Suzuki was born in Nagoya, Aichi in July 6 1993. After graduating from high school, he moved to Tokyo and attended Tokyo University of Arts, known as the most prestigious art schools in Japan.
In April 2019, Suzuki made a one-shot called Garaku in the web magazine Jump Plus (here, Takamura is introduced) Garaku got 590,000 views in a week and became one of the most read comics in Jump Plus at this month.
At the same year, Suzuki created another one-shot called Locker Room which also got a highly favourable reception. One year later, Locker Room received a voice comic and a TV drama adaptation called "Coin laundry" that aired in Fuji TV's The Most Strange Story Autumn Special Edition in November 14 2020.
After Suzuki gained high recognition as a mangaka, he started his first serialization Sakamoto Days.
