The Yamaha CK is stage keyboards produced by Yamaha Corporation. CK was released in two versions having 61-key FSB(Future System Basic) action CK61 and 88-key GHS(Graded Hammer Standard) action CK88 in 2023. [1]

[edit]CK’s sounds primarily generated by AWM2 as well as AWM (Organ Flutes) [2] [3]
Voices
[edit]CK features piano sounds from Yamaha grands the CFX, S700 and CF3, as well as from the Yamaha YC Series. [6]
Organ
[edit]CK features organ sounds based on the Yamaha reface YC mini keyboard featuring five different organ types use the drawbars, rotary speaker effect, percussion and a newly enhanced vibrato/chorus. [7]
Effects
[edit]CK features three dedicated effects processors.
- Drive features five types of overdrive and distortion.
- Effect 1 and Effect 2 features 36 effects plus an A/D(Analog to Digital) Input with two dedicated Effects.
Control
[edit]Keyboard
[edit]- CK61 features Future System Basic(FSB) 61-keys. FSB is perfectly fits for people who need fast synth‑like action, perfect for compact and travel. It weight is just 5.6kg.
- CK88 features Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) 88-keys. GHS designed piano‑like hammer action like other Yamaha stage keyboards such as YC88 and CP88, perfect for pianists. It’s become heavier and weight is just over 13kg.
User’s Interface
[edit]CK features 128 x 64‑pixel white‑on‑dark full-dot LCD display for menus and Dedicated Category buttons for sounds. [13] [14]
Other features
[edit]Speaker and Battery
[edit]- CK has a pair of oval 12 x 6cm drivers, rated at 6W, built-in stereo speakers.
- CK’s eight AA batteries compartment will power for between about three and five hours, and the LCD screen shows charge status. Otherwise use with the supplied 12V AC adaptor.
CK features USB type B[TO HOST]/USB type A[TO DEVICE]
- USB [TO HOST] terminal let connect the CK to a computer or mobile device via USB cable alone or with other additional accessories depending on hosting device.
* The USB [TO HOST| terminal has the capacity for handing two mono channels (or one stereo channel) of 24-bit audio at a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz.
- USB [TO DEVICE] terminal let connect a USB flash drive to the CK, allowing to save a Live Set Sound, load a Live Set Sound back to the CK, or play audio files.
* However it doesn’t support any kinds of USB devices other then USB flash drive.
CK features standard 5-pin DIN MIDI I/O MIDI.
- MIDI [IN] terminal let connect from other keyboards to the CK.
- MIDI [OUT] terminal let connect from the CK to external MIDI tone generator module or other high end MIDI Synthesizer such as Motif, Montage series Synthesizers.
CK features stereo class 2 Bluetooth audio input.
It’s supported play music or track from other Bluetooth compatible devices through the CK’s built-in speakers. However it doesn’t support Bluetooth MIDI or audio output to the computer or mobile devices. To do so, users must use a USB cable or external Bluetooth wireless MIDI adaptor such as Yamaha MD-BT01 or UD-BT01, same like other Yamaha keyboards. [17]
A/D Input
[edit]CK features [L/MONO]/[R] (6.3 mm, standard phone jacks) analog to digital input for external audio sources like microphones or synthesizers, featuring two dedicated effects to the audio and store them to a live set. [18] [19]
Line Out
[edit]CK features [L/MONO]/[R] (6.3 mm, standard phone jacks, unbalanced)line out for external monitor speakers.
