Matthew Klasinski, known as Xecronius, (Zec-Row-Nee-Us), was born on March 18th, 1996, in Lancaster, California. Matthew is a musician who creates, produces, and distributes his own music as an independent artist since 2023. Till about 9 years old, he was raised in Palmdale, California and currently lives in Aurora, Colorado. He performs at multiple venues, bars, and clubs since his first performance at 5 years old. Matthew's first performance was a cover of "You've Got A Friend in Me" by Randy Newman[1] in 2001 at a venue in Southern California for a private Amway event.
Matthew was the lead guitarist for his former band, Red Federation, (2013-2014), who were known for their original pop-punk, grunge, and hardcore punk music. The band has performed at venues in Colorado such as, 7th Circle Music Collective, The Roxy Theatre, Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom, and the Gothic Theatre. They won the Battle of the Bands hosted by Gorilla Music in 2014. Their EP album, "Don't Quote Me" was recorded by Mason Maxwell at his home studio as the grand prize for the competition.
He was also the former lead guitarist for Runaway Train, formed in 2010, a classic rock cover band from Colorado.
Since learning guitar at the of age 12, Matthew has been influenced by many rock artists such as, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, and Steve Vai. Matthew’s rap and hip-hop influences include Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Eminem, and many 90’s and early 2000’s artists.
Matthew uses the digital audio workstation (DAW), Fruity Loops Studio for his music production. He includes his guitar playing in his recordings and adds his own guitar solos in his hip-hop music.
He is the youngest child of 6 and has always recieved support for his music from his parents, siblings, friends and relatives. He is also currently the videographer for Wild Goose Saloon in Parker, Colorado and The Englewood Tavern in Englewood, Colorado and performs at both venues regularly for the open mic nights playing guitar, singing, and rapping, covering his own original music.
His other skills and hobbies include, video production and editing, many voice impressions (his favorite to imitate being, Homer Simpson from the television series, The Simpsons, and Joe Swanson from Family Guy), and creates craft weapons and armor from his favorite videogame, Old School RuneScape, using materials from craft foam, tape, cardboard, acrylic paint and other materials.
Matthew creates multiple genres of music including, hip-hop, rock, and electronic dance music. He is currently in a rock band, Basement Coalition, as the bassist for the band and rotates between lead guitar, vocals and drums. Some members of the band also switch around roles. They create their own original music as well.
