Wendell Mosby (born January 20, 1978), is an American politician, motivational speaker, and community organizer, who served as a board of trustee member at Prairie State Community College, District #515 in Chicago Heights, Illinois from 2011-2017. He was unsuccessful in a 2004 bid for school board member for the Rich Township school district and a congressional run in 2020 for the U.S. representative vacated seat for Indiana's 1st congressional district.
Early life and career
[edit]Mosby was born and raised in Chicago Heights, Illinois. After graduating from Rich Central High School, he earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Iowa State University.
Mosby worked as a foster care therapeutic mentor at Aunt Martha's Health and Wellness
Personal life
[edit]Mosby and his wife Tiffany have one child who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2021.
