Water Oak Creek is north of Starke, Florida, There was a "Colored" teacher assigned to a community called Water Oak in Bradford County.[1] Part of the creek is also near Lawtey, Florida.[2]

There is also an Oak Creek near Brushy Creek and Brushy Creek Reservoir[3]

It and Alligator Creek drain a swampy area into New River.[4]

It is in the Santa Fe River basin in north central Florida. It passes by State Road 25 in Starke, Florida.[5]
