This annual tournament in Utah is played by the four local college's Division 2 ACHA teames: Utah, Utah State, Utah Valley, and Weber State. Former participating member BYU - Program ended at the end of the 2021-2022 season.
There will be two semifinal games played on night one where the highest ranked team will play the lowest ranked team in semifinal game one and the second highest ranked team will play the third highest ranked team in semifinal game 2.
The two defeated schools from night 1 will play in a consolation game followed by the two winning schools playing in the championship game to decide the Wasatch Cup on night two.
With each team always playing a different amount of games against each other throughout the season, this two-day tournament is aimed to not only showcase college hockey in Utah, but finally put an end to the debate over which team is the best in the state.
