Warriors: Dawn of the Clans is the fifth arc in the Warriors fantasy series about feral cats. It comprises six novels published from 2013 to 2015: The Sun Trail,[1] Thunder Rising,[2] The First Battle,[3] The Blazing Star,[4] A Forest Divided,[5] and Path of Stars.[6] The novels were written under the psuedonym Erin Hunter, which is comprised mainly of authors Kate Cary and Cherith Baldry, and editor Victoria Holmes. The arc centers around the formation of the groups which the feral cats live in, known as Clans.

Synopsis

[edit]The Sun Trail takes place several years before the events of Into the Wild, focusing on cats from the Tribe of Rushing Water living in a mountain range. While the Tribe is suffering from starvation and overcrowding, their leader receives a vision of a better future in a far away land. A small group of cats leaves the Tribe to find this new land.
