The Voquality Singers is a session choir which is known for its contributions to the Marvel movies Black Panther, and Wakanda Forever, and to the Amazon movie Candy Cane Lane, and the Netflix movie Jingle Jangle, among others.
Its singers are drawn from across the UK on a project by project basis, and are contracted and directed by Ken Burton. The choir is typically called for projects where the choral writing is based wholly, or partially on music of the African diaspora, including, but not limited to African, Jazz, Gospel, Soul, and a cappella genres such as spirituals.
Among the soundtracks which the choir has sung on are:
- the Grammy and Oscar award winning Black Panther - score by Ludwig Göransson, conducted by John Ashton-Thomas, Choirmaster: Ken Burton, recorded at Abbey Road Studios
- Ugly Dolls conducted by Ken Burton, recorded at AIR Lyndhurst Studios
- Jingle Jangle conducted by Ken Burton , recorded at AIR Lyndhurst Studios, produced by Harvey Mason Jr
- Wakanda Forever conducted by Ken Burton, score by Ludwig Göransson recorded at Abbey Road Studios
- Candy Cane Lane (Amazon) starring Eddie Murphy, recorded at Abbey Road Studios and RAK Studios, score written and produced by Marcus Miller
- Holiday Road conducted by Ken Burton, recorded at Abbey Road Studios
The name Voquality is a portmanteau of "vocal quality", and a play on the word "vocality".
