The voiceless linguolabial trill is a type of consonantal sound. The symbol in the International Phonetic Alphabet that represents this sound is ⟨r̼̊⟩, a combination of the letter for the alveolar trill, a diacritic indicating voicelessness, and the "seagull" diacritic indicating that it is a linguolabial consonant.
Usage
[edit]The voiceless linguolabial trill is not known to occur naturally in any language, however it is used as an onomatopoeia for farting and is also known as blowing a raspberry, razzing, or making a Bronx cheer.
