Vidhatri Urs (born 10 February 2006) is an Indian amateur golfer. She has represented India in several international golf tournaments, excelling in various amateur and junior championships. Vidhatri has earned recognition for her accomplishments, notably on the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour, where she regularly finishes as one of the top amateurs.

Early Life and Education

Vidhatri Urs was born on 10 February 2006 in Mysore, India. She completed her schooling through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). She began playing golf at a young age, and her passion and talent for the sport were evident from the start. She is coached by Laurence Brotheridge, with fitness training provided by Abhishek from Invictus Athletic Club. Her home club is the JWGC Mysore.

  • Represented India in the Women’s Amateur Asia Pacific Tournament at Siam Country Club, Thailand (MC).
  • Finished 5th overall and was the best amateur in the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour (Leg 6) at DLF Golf and Country Club.
  • Represented India in the 44th Queen Sirikit Cup held at Clearwater Golf Club, New Zealand.
  • Finished T3 in the IGU Eastern India Ladies and Junior Girls Championship at Tollygunge Golf Club.[1]
  • Winner in the IGU Western India Ladies and Junior Girls Championship at Kalhaar Blues and Greens, Ahmedabad.
  • Winner in the IGU West Bengal Ladies and Junior Girls Championship at RCGC Kolkata.

2023

  • Finished T5 and was the best amateur at DLF Golf and Country Club in the Women’s Professional Golf Tour.
  • 1st place in the Telangana Ladies and Junior Girls Golf Championship at Hyder Golf Course.
  • 2nd place in the Karnataka Ladies and Junior Girls Golf Championship at Clover Greens.
  • 1st overall and best amateur in the Women’s Professional Golf Tour at Prestige Golf Shire with a personal best score of -16.
  • Played 3 LET Access Tour events in Sweden and made the cut at the PGA Championship in Gothenburg.
  • Represented India in the 43rd Queen Sirikit Cup in Manila, Philippines, finishing 19th individually and 2nd in the team event.

2022
